    Description

Cunard Line:  "The Stateliest Ship Now In Being" – a sixteen page art and interiors brochure issued around the time of the QUEEN MARY’s 1936 maiden voyage.
Inside are photos, both color and b&w, of her art work such as Bainbridge Copnall’s applied wood carvings in the First Class Restaurant and Maurice Lambert's "History of Travel" plaques from the Shopping Centre.  There are also color concept drawings of her interiors with very thin and elegant passengers looking dwarfed by the exaggerated super-sized rooms.  The covers are a fine textured stock and the inner pages feature silver foil trim.
    Excellent condition.
