    Some trivia...
Johnny Allen Hendrix was fairly unknown in the US until
the Monterey Pop Festival where he gave a magical and memorable performance which concluded with the burning of his guitar which became an iconic image for him.  Thereafter, in June 1967, a record was released.
The US Tour associated with this ticket stub began in February '68 in San Francisco.  Word of Jimi had traveled quickly as evidenced  by this show which opened in April of that year to a sold-out crowd in White Plains, NY.
Soft Machine (Robert Wyatt, Kevin Ayers, Michael Ratledge & Andy Summers) performed first.
The Hendrix Experience consisting of Jimi, Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell (all now deceased) followed.
Woodstock occurred the following summer ('69) and in September a year later Jimi Hendrix died.
His time in the public eye was just a little over 3 years.
During that time The Hendrix Experience performed comparatively few concerts.
    And thusly,
    there are
    few remaining authentic ticket stubs
    left to purchase
. The better stubs are in collections and generally are held. Of the remaining Hendrix tickets, a number of them have been identified as fakes.*
Mailed tracked and insured with signature required.
(International buyers are sent their item by the e-bay Global Shipping Program or have an additional insured and tracked shipping charge calculated by location and availability.  In some countries, no signature or tracking is obtainable and buyer accepts purchase as being completed without a signature as proof of delivery; or, another delivery option can be designated by the buyer to be explored by both parties before check-out. Thank you.)
    *Please take note:
It has been brought to my attention that many of the more expensive tickets presented for sale, [particularly Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Elvis, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles] have been reproduced (photocopied) or have been bought previously as reproductions and modified in order to mis-represent them as being originals.  This becomes disclosed when many become available in a continuous flow
    with dealers and sellers both
in the US and in the UK. Simply stated, there just aren't that many available that aren't already in collections.
At least two of the fraudulent sellers have slipped under the feedback radar. H
    aving observed a shady entity's 100% positive e-bay feedback,
innocent buyers assume their purchases to be authentic and safe, and subsequently have bid on and purchased a stub, left a buyer's positive feedback (which cannot be edited either after a time lapse or after being immediately refunded when caught) and learned afterwards, sometimes years afterwards, that they had purchased a worthless counterfeit.
And although this has gone on for a long time and has been reported, it is a real concern and it does persist which, in addition to the fraud perpetrated against the buyer, has created false values to be listed as valid comparable sold prices further misleading buyers and damaging the legitimate market
    value.
Though it may be only a matter of time before encapsulated and graded tickets are counterfeited, it is my preference to have my tickets professionally graded; however, with the increase in prices, the higher minimums and the long turn-around time involved (e.g. PSA now takes about 8 months), it has become problematic. With this in mind, if any of my tickets are graded by the buyer in the future and are deemed to be forged, regardless of when the sale was made, a complete refund will be made.
If you care to, you can study my reviews.
I have sold ticket stubs for many years with and without grading
without ever needing to refund one ticket
    .
    Thanks for looking!
