ABOUT THIS KNIFE:
This knife is
new and unused but are stamped "factory seconds" and I bought it directly at the Dexter Russell Factory in the next town. They save beauties like these for vendors like me to retail. The Knife is amazingly solid and it is now one of my own "go-to" knives when I need a boning knife in the kitchen. This knife was deemed a "Seconds" because the Logo/Knife Name was not applied to the blade. You can see what I mean in the photos (but especially in the 3rd photo). THAT'S ALL! (the etching cannot be done once the blade is inserted into the handle). So because this knife doesn't have the Dexter name on the blade, you can save a ton of $$$. The Knife will function EXACTLY as a FIRST QUALITY KNIFE would. As a Commercial Grade, SaniSafe, this knife is solid, built to last and to withstand the rigors of a professional kitchen!
Its pretty Heavy Duty.
The knife also has some MINOR and I mean VERY MINR blemishes on the blade because they were stored without any blade guard. The blemishes DON'T EVEN SHOW UP IN THE PHOTOS! The blemishes are cosmetic ONLY and will not compromise the integrity of or the performance of the knife.
