The motor came with a, what looks like, a clock winding key.
As there is not much leverage with the key, with difficulties, I almost fully winded up the spring. The motor was spinning for a bit over 25 minutes. There was no spring release noise, and the motor was spinning quiet.
All in all, the motor is in good to very good to excellent working working order.
