Antique Edison Phonograph Cylinder Recordings 2 Minute Playback Mixed Lot of 28

Description

We Offer for your consideration this 28 piece lot of Edison recordings.
These recordings came to us along with an 1905 Edison Standard phonograph.
(check our other listings to see the machine)
These recordings are formatted to be played on the Standard Phonograph
and have a two minute playback time.
Of the 28 cylinders 14 look to be without any issues, the other 14 might have defects that  might affect playback.
After approximately 116 years these cylinders and cases have become a bit jumbled,
the Case titles do not always reflect the Cylinder titles.

If you are a collector of antique Edison cylinder recordings, there may be some long searched for recordings in this batch. Even the damaged ones might be able to be salvaged, sampling those parts of the songs still playable might make it possible to digitally reconstruct the songs, and preserve them for posterity.
