Antique Persian Sterling Silver Mother Of Pearl Hand-Painted Reversible Pendant

Lovely antique Persian, or Asian, sterling silver and hand-painted large reversible mother of pearl pendant. This wonderful antique pendant is 2 3/4” long by 1 7/16” wide and weighs 14.5 grams. One side of the mother of pearl stone is hand-painted with birds in a bright coral red and green-blue. The other side has an ornate floral type design in black, red and green. The floral side does have some paint loss, but is still quite striking as the design is unique. The mother of pearl still has lots of life and has a nice sheen. This painted mother of pearl pendant is set in a twisted rope textured setting with a large bail that should fit over most chains or cords. It is in good antique condition with no damage other than as described. Any display items pictured are not included.
