It features a wide blade with a sheep's foot tip to provide clear linear cutting results. This construction is rather designed for single downward cuts, than for rocking motions typical for classic chef’s knives. Notches on the blade prevent food from sticking to the knife and help to cut soft foods into fine, paper-thin slices.
