    Description

Here is a scarce Edison Blue Amberol cylinder record, #5283, "Can I Sleep In Your Barn Tonight, Mister?", sung by Vernon Dalhart, with his usual sidekicks, Murray Kellner on violin and Carson Robison on guitar.  The tune was recorded
on December 14, 1926, and Edison released the cylinder in February 1927.  This time Mr. Dalhart is apparently a hobo, as usual he has a sad story to sing about, a fun listen.  Cylinder plays well with relatively little surface noise.  I will also include a period correct Blue Amberol cylinder box.  As you might know, this is about 2 years from the end of cylinder production by Edison.  I believe this was not a big seller for Mr. Dalhart, if this is what you like do not pass it up.  Reasonable buy it now price given what it is, don't pass it up!
Shipping to USA addresses only.  .50 media mail postage and handling fee.  Please pay within 24 hours of purchase and I will leave you positive feedback when I mail the cylinder, your positive feedback appreciated!  See my store for many more cylinder records, I will combine shipping if you buy more than one, and thanks for looking!!
