    Description

Here is a super fun Edison Blue Amberol cylinder, #5337, the song "The Crepe on the Old Cabin Door", performed by tenor Vernon Dalhart, with his regular co-conspirators, Murray Kellner on violin and Carson Robinson on guitar.  This was recorded on May 3, 1927, and Edison released the cylinder in July 1927.  Another sad song, Mr. Dalhart goes to visit his mother and--too late--she's dead, a very fun listen.  The cylinder plays well with fairly minimal surface noise. I  will also provide a period correct (if somewhat battered) cylinder box for you.  Summer 1927 is two years away from the end of cylinder land, this is a scarce one!  Get it for your collection at a low buy it now price, go for it!!
Shipping to USA addresses only.  .50 media mail postage and fees, I will ship cylinder in a new box.  Please pay within 24 hours of purchase and I will leave you positive feedback when I ship the cylinder, your positive feedback appreciated!  See my store for more cylinder records, I will combine postage if you buy more than one, and thanks for looking!!
