Edison Fireside Model A Cylinder Phonograph in Excellent Condition
With 19” Wide Morning Glory Horn
This Edison Fireside Model A Cylinder Phonograph is one of their earliest versions. It plays 2 or 4 minute recordings. I believe this is between 1901 & 1905. This player is in extremely great condition. Runs smooth and quiet. Reproducer works great. Inside is spotless. Comes with an original 19” wide Morning Glory horn that stands 25” tall. The horn does have wear to it so please examine photos. Horn does not have any big dents or cracks. The 2-latch case is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or scratches, great patina. All parts are original with the exception of the belt. Sounds very good when playing. I DO Not have the original crane that holds the horn up, you can purchase them on eBay or manufacture one yourself. The crane in the picture is not included as it is really too weak for use as I just quickly manufactured this from material I already had in my house for photo purposes. Will also need new tubing that connects the horn to the reproducer. Finding one of these in this great of condition is exceedingly rare, you don’t want to miss out on this one. Comes with 81 original wax cylinders. Not all cylinders are in their original cardboard box but most are. Will ship in 2 large boxes with insurance safely packed.
