This is the "Clandestine" limited edition notebooks by Field Notes. It's in a sealed pack with 3 notebooks inside. The covers are made from Mohawk’s Via Antique Vellum in a surreptitious “Urban Gray.” The fronts feature black metallic Crown foil laid atop an enigmatic, dark matte surface. The pages are
60# Finch Opaque White with light gray dot-graph and the last page of each book features a three-part history of codes and ciphers with many examples and anecdotes. There’s also handy cross-reference matrix of various codes on the back covers, easy to access when you have to code or decode something.
A note of warning: Do not send in your tax return in code. Those IRS agents have absolutely no appreciation of the mysterious world the rest of us live in.
One last note: I will send a small extra item with your notebooks. I'm doing this because I wanted to write a cryptic note about it in this description. It's not all that valuable, but it's the thought that counts. And unfortunately, you don't know what the thought is, either. You need these notebooks to even begin to get back on track.
