This is a brand new long operating coupler arm for Lionel modern era passenger cars, like Polar Express. It is complete with the rear molded "U" style centering spring, armature plate, magnetic tack and knuckle. It is kind of hard to see on the measuring ruler, but it is approximately 2 1/4 inches long from the center of the pivot hole to the outside edge of the closed knuckle, as compared to approximately 1 7/8 inches for the short arm version of this part.  I will send this boxed via priority mail to better protect the part.
