Description
MSV Racing Aluminum O-ringed CR500 Exhaust ManifoldsThey fit 1985-2001 CR500 engine, are made of aerospace-grade billet 7075 T6-511 aluminum, which is twice as strong as the normal 6061 that most aluminum parts and other aluminum exhaust manifolds are made from.
They are available in natural unpolished aluminum color, matte black Cerakote 2000*f ceramic coating, matte pewter Cerakote 2000*f ceramic coated and vintage gold Cerakote 2000*f ceramic coating
, and come with the 4 high-temp O-rings installed.
If replacement O-rings are ever needed, they will always be available through MSV Racing.
These manifolds far exceed OEM and any other CR500 manifolds available anywhere. Don't make the mistake and buy another manifold you will have to replace because of inferior fitment, lesser quality materials, or poor customer service .

(1-9-2017) My friend and customer Riley Will of BRC Racing/Engineering (SuperKarting, Sprint/Road Racing, UAS Dirt Racing, and Modern KTM500 engine fame) dyno tested the MSV Racing CR500 Exhaust Manifold vs OEM on his personal engine. Here is what he found,
+3.99 HP at 6300 RPM and +1.4ft lb TQ at 6377 RPM that is CRAZY!(see pics)
(10-31-16) The MSV Racing Exhaust Manifold was back-to-back dyno tested by Matt Worbes of M-Tech Motorcycles against OEM manifold.
+2.2hp peak and +1.1 ft lb of tq! Look at that over rev! This is a permanent gain from an part!(see pics)
A handful of
other benefits are-
High temp O-rings on the manifold spigot that seal the expansion chamber stopping the black drool that can leak on the OEM flange. This also allows easy pipe removal and install without having to re-seal.
There is the 4th O-ring on the back of the flange that eliminates the gasket, stopping the need to buy a gasket or scrape one off when doing top end etc.
The ceramic coated versions promote exhaust flow by keeping the exhaust temp up by not allowing the exhaust temp to dissipate through the Al flange. The ceramic coating also inhibits carbon deposits. They will also retain their color with zero fading.
All versions have a .500" lead in taper in the exhaust port hole, on the flange side, allowing for larger exhaust port matching which could promote more power.
