NEW REPLACEMENT RUBBER DRIVE BELT FOR EDISON GEM PHONOGRAPH

Special note: Some buyers have reported that the normal belt was too long for their machines, mostly in the case of Maroon Gems. I do not know why. Some Gems apparently used a smaller belt so the normal one is too long. I have never been able to trace down how to tell if a particular Gem would be one of those that would not take the normal belt, You might measure and see if yours looks as if it needs an 11" belt, which is the different belt, and let me know. If the belt you receive does not fit it can always be returned for a refund or exchanged for the other one
Here is a rubber drive belt for the Edison Gem Phonograph.
These are far better than leather belts. Leather belts may be original, but they don't run smoothly, loosen in cold, shrink in heat, crack, and slip more easily if oil gets on them. Plus, this throw-on belt saves you the hassle of measuring, gluing and/or sewing together. I've been using them for years, haven't had to replace one yet, and love their performance.
