Use the base on its own as a flat, traditional warming tray. Setting the main 7-1/2-quart tray onto the base allows for keeping a large amount of one item hot and ready to serve. The serving tray can also be used as a stand-alone piece for stove top or oven cooking. Place the three stainless-steel chafing dishes into the large serving tray for keeping three different food items warm at the same time. Each tray insert offers a 2-1/2-quart capacity, or 20 4-ounce servings, and comes with a heat-resistant poly carbonate lid with a receptive spoon hole and easy-grip indented handle. Three adjustable temperature settings from 130 to 185 degrees F, an indicator light, and cast-aluminum loop side handles for convenient transport.
