    Description

    FDC produced for one of the 29c stamps issued in Chama, New Mexico, on July 28, 1994, as part of the set of 5 Locomotives stamps (Sc. 2843-47). This stamp features Hudson's General (Sc. 2843), a Confederate locomotive hijacked by a group of Union soldiers during the Civil War. Red & blue cachet originally produced by the Detroit Post office and then re-purposed by DuRussel-Weston, featuring the silhouette of a train and the Detroit Post Office. Unaddressed.
