Scratch Pro is a revolutionary kit designed to reduce the appearance of scratches and polish stainless steel sinks to look like new! Is your stainless steel sink scratched or just looking dull? ScratchPro is the solution. It will restore your sink shine in 3 quick and easy steps. Each kit contains: 5 pieces of Scratch Pro sandpaper 1 orange Scratch Pro diamond buffing compound syringe 1 black Scratch Pro diamond buffing compound syringe 1 foam gripper for easy buffing by hand 1 orange buffing pad 1 black buffing pad 2 plastic buffing pad protectors Store the kit in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to prevent melting. Sometimes, changes in temperature may cause separation in buffing compounds. This won't affect their effectiveness. STEP 1, Sandpaper - SCRATCH REMOVAL: Caution! The Scratch Pro sandpaper is very aggressive and will change the surface finish, and it is not intended for use on appliances. This step should be skipped if there are no scratches to remove, and you simply want to restore shine to the surface. Begin by cleaning the sink well with a soapy water or mild cleaning agent, and pat dry. Secure a piece of sandpaper to the foam gripper, and buff gently in the direction of the grain, until the scratches are removed, or their visibility is greatly reduced. It is recommended to go over the entire surface to ensure a consistent finish and seamless blend. This may take around 15 minutes or more depending on the size of the sink and pressure applied. Clean the area well again with soapy water or a mild cleaning agent before proceeding to step 2. STEP 2, Orange - BUFFING: Secure the Orange pad to the foam gripper and apply a 1-2 inch strip of Orange compound 2 to the pad and start working on a dry sink. Buff vigorously for several minutes in the direction of the grain until the surface appears polished. When finished, clean the area thoroughly of all residue, with a soapy water or mild cleaning agent. Failure to completely clean all of the diamond compound 2 may cause scratching during the final polishing step. Remove the orange buffing pad from the gripper and cover the used side with a plastic pad protector before storing. Step 3, Black - POLISHING: Secure the Black pad to the foam gripper and apply a 1-2 inch strip of Black compound 3 to the pad. Start working on a dry sink. Buff with the black compound until the area is sufficiently polished. Remove the black buffing pad from the gripper and cover the used side with a plastic pad protector before storing. Finish by cleaning the area thoroughly of all residue.
