Typical symptoms:
The hard disk is not recognized in the BIOS when the PC is booted "no bootable drive", or "no OS detected" (or similar), or the PC BIOS recognizes the hard disk, but only with 0 bytes. Repair:
Defective Seagate hard drive will be repaired and updated to the new firmware revision. After that, the hard drive will be recognized in the computer BIOS and you can access your data again. The repair does not apply to the surface defects, defects of the partitions or fillet tables, bad block, etc.
