AGE
This is the type of glass you might discover in an Early American West ghost town, if you were lucky enough to find it! Glass was made with manganese up to around 1914, and when left in sunlight, THAT is what made the glass turn purple.
Condition
There is a factory flaw just underneath where the lower part of the applied handle is attached. Not enough to hurt the integrity of the item, in my opinion. Please consider that this artful example of Victorian glassware is an antique...by its very nature of being old is not "dead mint" or perfect. Please consider any manufacturing imperfections indicative of when it was made and wear consistent with age, contact, handling and usage.
Your pitcher will be carefully packaged in a smoke-free home.
All the eBest,
