  • Condition: Representative pack of 12 blk/wht photos measure at approx. 5"x4" and are in nice condition. They may have some light age/storage/handling wear. The two Cunard Line passenger list booklets are in nice condition with some usual light wear, and with one (the July 11th 1957 booklet) having more yellowed/brown pages than the June booklet. Be sure to view all 12 photos carefully. GREAT finds!!

    Description

    Pack of 12 representative and titled blk/wht photos of the R.M.S. Queen Mary ship, and two
    Cunard line passenger list brochures (one from June 19th 1957 and one from July 11th 1957).
    From the Anton "Tony" Hulman Jr. estate.
    Anton "Tony" "Big Tone" Hulman Jr. (1901-1977).
    American businessman and philanthropist from Terre Haute, Indiana who bought the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1945
    and brought racing back to the famous 500 mile course after a 4 year hiatus following World War II.
    These Representative photos and passenger list booklets were brought back home after the Hulman's European vacation in 1957
    and stored
    in the Hulman vault until the Mari Hulman George estate sale in June of 2021.
