Nepalese Sterling Silver Clad Bone Bangle Bracelet
Incredible workmanship by skilled local nepalese artisans create these imaginative designs by hammering sterling silver sheets and then apply them to the carved bangle, which can be made of resin, bone, bakelite, etc.  It is important to note that when these can be found on bone, such as this one, the tiled bone bangles are more common as they are pieced together with small bone tiles.  This bracelet being offered here is of the MUCH harder to find variety, being carved of one solid piece.  It is quite substantial and weighty.  See measurements below.  Nice Large size!
It is said the women would wear these bracelets to protect from ills, promote inner strength and good fortune...
